We will visit at Highlands on the East Side on Tuesday, December 16 at 2:00 PM. Highlands on the East Side is at 101 Highland Avenue, Providence, RI 02906. Please come early and give your dog a good walk outside before the event.

While your dog does not have to be a registered therapy dog to take part in this activity, it needs to be able to be calm in a group setting with people and other dogs. It should be well housebroken and clean. We recommend CGC or better testing for any dog that will be brought into a communal visit situation.

Please bring information about the history and purpose of your breed. You can present the material or if you prefer, either John or I will handle talking about your breed if you would rather not speak to the group. You will have a chance to show off your dog and perhaps do a trick or two in front of the group. If appropriate, you can mingle with the residents with your dog near the end of the visit.
