The Providence County Kennel Club will hold a Conformation Match and Obedience Show & Go on Friday, July 25, 2024 at Wide World of Indoor Sports, after setup for the show on Saturday.
- Entries $10
- Indoors, in air conditioned comfort
- Entries 4:00pm – 5:00pm or in advance
- Judging begins 5:30pm
Our upcoming Match Show will provide a venue for people who are new to, or interested in getting involved in, Conformation and Obedience events. This event may be used as practice for puppies and their owners, providing guidance and feedback from seasoned handlers, judges or fellow newbies. A Match Show is as enjoyable to watch as they are to participate in! If you are a first time participant you could easily come and observe with or without your dog. If you are coming to participate then you will need your dog’s registration information to enter.

No dogs with majors and no professional handlers, please. Dogs with bandages, tape or stitches cannot be entered.
Please bring your own chairs.
Conformation events are for intact, not neutered or spayed purebred dogs. The objective of conformation events is to choose dogs that most closely conform to their breed standard to help evaluate the dogs that will be used as breeding stock. Obedience events are open to all dogs. Non-purebred dogs must be neutered or spayed. For more information about obedience, see the AKC website.
