Conformation Match & Show & Go at Delmyra

The Providence County Kennel Club will hold a conformation match and obedience Show & Go on September 6, 2021 at Delmyra Country Club for Dogs and Cats. Information about the event will be posted here when it is available, but save the date!

Our upcoming Match Show will provide a venue for people who are new to, or interested in getting involved in, Conformation and Obedience events. This event may be used as practice for puppies and their owners, providing guidance and feedback from seasoned handlers, judges or fellow newbies. A Match Show is as enjoyable to watch as they are to participate in! If you are a first time participant you could easily come and observe with or without your dog. If you are coming to participate then you will need your dog’s registration information to enter.

Conformation events are for intact, not neutered or spayed purebred dogs. The objective of conformation events is to choose dogs that most closely conform to their breed standard to help evaluate the dogs that will be used as breeding stock. To learn more about why you might want to attend a conformation match, see the AKC match flyer.

Obedience events are open to all dogs. Non-purebred dogs must be neutered or spayed.

Contact Pam via email if you have any questions about this event.
